The KCPE results may be released by the end of March 2022 or in the beginning of April 2022 because the computerized marking system which was introduced by KNEC , this form will give enough space for a selection which will be conducted immediately the results will be released.
Kenya Certificate of Primary Education exam is expected to start tomorrow at 7am and will last for 3 days. The president of the private school association in Taita Taveta, Rosina Kitate, through the Ministry of Education, however, has given new instructions ahead of the upcoming national exams.
It has noted that KCPE candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall with handkerchief, wrist watch and tie. “In previous years, candidates were allowed to enter the examination hall with handkerchiefs, but this year, they will be banned.
Wrist watches and ties will also not be allowed in the examination halls,” she said. Kitete has admitted that the new rule will reduce the irregularities in the examination, although teachers were not consulted about it. It was noted that the KCPE exam creates a lot of tension and nervousness among the candidates which may cause sweating but still the use of handkerchiefs will not be allowed.
“Sometimes these kids get nervous during their exams and sweat and may need a handkerchief. The candidates were also trained on how to time themselves during the exam using their stopwatch.”
Some people have also been warned to stop the school heads from cheating in the exam by giving them the index number of the fake exam.
These new rules now mean they will have reliable results.
