Primary school teachers who have completed their studies and earned degrees after the Teachers Service Commission’s move to teach in secondary schools have all reason to smile.
TSC Boss Dr. Nancy Macharia says that posting letters have been issued to teach teachers in Kenya’s secondary schools today.
Dr. Nancy Macharia today confirmed that letters have been issued to eligible teachers and they are expected to report at the new stations soon.
Macharia further states that the teachers who have been deployed are qualified and meet all the requirements for teaching in secondary schools.
She says the teachers hold Bachelor of Education degrees and are therefore suitable to teach in secondary schools.
The Teachers Service Commission’s move to deploy primary school teachers in secondary schools will be of great help as it will help in bridging the teacher shortage that has been experienced for many years.
