Around 600,000 high school students are currently sitting for the KCSE, their final year exam, which will now allow them to transition from secondary level to tertiary or higher education level.
However, despite the education ministry putting out the fire for those planning to indulge in exam malpractices, since the commencement of the 2021 KCSE exam, there have been several incidents of students, police officers and teachers indulging in exam malpractices so far.
According to a reliable source, three teachers and a police officer were arrested today for allegedly leaking the KCSE Kiswahili Paper 2 exam in Mbooni East of Makueni County. The four suspects will now remain behind bars till Monday, when they will be produced in court.
All the examination stakeholders are again reminded to ensure that the examination is conducted in a transparent manner so that every student gets his/her honest result.
