Police in Kiganjo Ward of Kiambu County have begun a search for a prime suspect in a heart-wrenching incident that took place yesterday at a wedding ceremony.
According to the National Police Service, the nan defiled a seven-year-old girl in a toilet inside the church premises.
According to reports, the girl’s mother had allowed the girl to use the washroom around 4:00 pm and she became worried when the daughter did not return. Later, a blood-soaked scene of a helpless child was found in the washroom.
According to the source, the minor told how the man forced her into the toilet and threatened not to call her for help as she would face consequences if she called for help.
According to the source, the girl is currently admitted to Kenyatta National Hospital in a very critical condition.
