Students who wish to transfer from one school to another must fill out a transfer form for their requests to be considered.
No school shall admit a student without a transfer letter signed by the SCDE, CDE and the Director of Secondary Education and Special Programs, as the case may be.
The authority authority for the students seeking transfer within the sub-county will be SCDE.
Students seeking transfer from one county to another, the authorized official shall be the CDE, subject to the recommendation of the CDE. On the other hand, students seeking transfer from one region to another, they will seek authorization from the CDE, subject to the recommendation of the Regional Coordinator. of Education (RCE)
Transfer from one national school to another shall be authorized by the Director of Secondary Education and Special Programs.
It is important to note that all headmasters should give release letters to students seeking transfer to other schools, clearly stating the conduct of the students concerned. The Principal covering up a student’s conduct will be held responsible for any subsequent problems.
A school that may have a vacancy or vacancies to admit more students, shall issue a transfer letter signed by the principal to the student’s former school to initiate the transfer process. No transfer will be made in the middle of the year except in special circumstances.
The reasons that provoked the student transfer process include; Medicine (attach medical report), performance, distance, high cost, discipline among others. Once the student has downloaded the Form A 2022 Admit Card, the next thing is to go through the details and prepare adequately for the admission exercise.

Description and logo of the secondary school in which the student is admitted.
Name of student and congratulatory message for securing admission.
A section where the student will take a letter of support from the primary headmaster in the primary school. Not that the headmaster has to embed the school’s signature and official rubber stamp.
The letter will also indicate the reporting date for the student. The student is expected to reach the school during working hours between 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on the first day of reporting. It will be inconvenient for you to come outside of these hours or during weekends as there will be no staff to look after you. When reporting for admission, you must bring with you:
Letter of introduction from the head of your area, clergy, or father in charge of your parish/mission.
Identity card of your primary school headmaster.
Attested copy of your result slip for K. C. P. E. Examination.
Attested copy of your birth certificate or document to prove your date of birth.
Two passport size photographs.
Photocopy of the ID of the parent/guardian.
A medical certificate (fill in the given medical form MHS/A/3)
Books and other curricular materials
For your personal use, you must bring the following:
Archdiocese of Nairobi School Himnal (to be purchased from the school)
The Holy Bible (Revised Standard Version).

Please note that the school does not provide special diets to the students. However, any medical concerns about your health should be reported to the school nurse immediately upon admission.
Bed
You should provide yourself with two blankets, at least two pairs of sheets, (minimum size 150 x 225), 2 pillows, a mosquito net (conical 3 x 6 blue color).
Personal Effects
Each student is expected to provide himself with items such as:
a pair of black shoes (“taughy”)
a pair of sports shoes
6 white under-wear and 6 white vest
4 handkerchiefs
towels
toilet and laundry soap
shoe polish
toothbrush and toothpaste
a plate and a spoon
One liter cup (standard size)
A metal bucket, 2 rubber squeezers and a slasher
Trunk (strong lockable metal box) and 2 padlocks
slippers

The admit card will also have the fee structure provided by the Ministry of Education.
