Primary and secondary schools began their academic activities for the year 2022 on April 26th, and they returned for half term on the 26th of last month until the 29th of last month before returning to school to begin the second half of term one.
Primary and secondary schools are expected to close on 2nd July 2022 and allow pupils to travel back home for a short first term holliday that will remain until 10th July 2022, a duration of one week.
Learner will then begin their second term on 11th July 2022, break for halfterm on 11th August 2022 that will take three days and end on 14th August 2022, then returning for the second part of term two, the second term will officially end on 16th September 2022.
The third term will begin on September 26th, 2022, and because it will be short, there will be no halfterm, therefore non-candidate learners will conclude it on November 25th, 2022, in time for the KCPE and KCSE examinations.
