The Teachers Service Commision (TSC) has reshuffled the leadership of three secondary schools in Murang’a county in its latest announcement.
Gerrison Mwangi who was the principal at Kiaguthu Boys in Murang’a County has been moved to Njiiri High to take after Kamau Chomba who leaves to head Alliance High School in Kiambu whose principal has retired.
Mr. Mwangi who has been in Kiaguthu Boys School since 2016, had taken over after Wilson Kamunyu who had been transferred to Ndurumo High School in Nyahururu.
On his departure from the Kiaguthu Boys, Mwangi handed the institution’s leadership to Kagema Kibue from Karega Mixed Day Secondary School in Kigumo.
Stephen Mburu a former teacher at St Mary Lioki in Kiambu was promoted by TSC to replace Mr. Kagema.
Speaking on the day he started his tour of duty at Njiiri High, Gerrison Mwangi attributed Kiaguthu’s School high performance that led to a high number of students qualifying for university admission in the past six years to him working hand in hand with the stakeholders.
“I have worked with several institutions and all geared towards better returns at the national level,” he said.
On the other hand, presiding principal at Kiaguthu High, Mr Kagema said he was delighted to be there and promising to work with all the stakeholders and improve the school’s performance.
