In the latest requirements, you must have at least a C- in Cluster subjects in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examinations (KCSE) to enroll in KMTC to take a certification course
To enroll in the diploma programs, it is necessary to have obtained a minimum grade of C in the cluster subjects
Basic requirement for updating kmtc courses, the candidate must be in possession of a certificate in the relevant discipline.
Note that all applicants for higher degree programs must have completed a degree course in accordance with the following requirements.
*1.Duration for the requirements of the higher diploma course*

It is necessary to hold a Basic Diploma in relevant fields and at least two years of work experience.

Applicants willing to participate must have a KCSE average grade of C (or equivalent) with a relevant combination of other subjects such as English, Kiswahili, Biology, Life Sciences, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Physical Sciences.

The training takes 3 years except Community Health Nursing which takes 3.5 years to complete

One must hold a certificate in relevant fields and at least two years of work experience.

The training lasts 2 years except Community Health Nursing which lasts 18 months

There must be a minimum aggregate of C- with relative combination of requirements from other entities.
The specified duration of training takes 2 years with the exception of nursing which takes 2.5 years to complete

Government ministries interested in any course or courses may also submit a written request for arrangements to be made to make provision for these courses necessary.
