Requirements to be hired / recruited by TSC
1. You must be a Kenyan citizen
2. You must be at least 45 years of age
3. You must be registered as a teacher under Section 23 of the Teachers Service Commission Act 2012.
For enrollment without enrollment certificate it is necessary to attach a copy of the payment receipt of the online application / print of the payment receipt.

Primary school teachers are generally recruited through selection. The following original documents must be submitted to the Sub-County Selection Board on the day of the selection.
~ National identity card
~ CPE / KCPE certificate (including first attempt certificate if a one time test).
~ PTE certificate.
~ High school / university diploma.
Applicants without academic and professional certificates must produce proof of the confirmation application from KNEC and is the owner of the respective lecturer following with KNEC within 14 days
The sub county selection panel will consist of the following;
~ Deputy County Director – President
~ TSC County Deputy Human Resources Officer – Secretary
~ All Zonal Curriculum Support Officers – Members

~ The secondary school teacher can be a graduate or graduate
~ graduate teacher
~ Minimum average grade of C + in KCSE and minimum average grade of C + in each of the two teaching subjects or minimum passage of 2 theory and 1 assistant at “A” level.
~ Master’s Degree in Education with 2 Teaching Subjects
