Police officer allegedly rapes woman at gunpoint in Ngong
A police officer in Kajiado County is being held at Ngong Police Station after allegedly raping a woman at gunpoint.
According to a police report, Officer Alfred Juma approached the victim as she was walking from Ngong to Gichagi at around 11.20pm on Friday.
Juma then allegedly got out of his Toyota Fielder car and approached the victim as he allegedly grabbed her arm and forced her into his vehicle at gunpoint before driving her towards the veterinary farm area.
Upon their arrival, still with the gun in hand, Juma allegedly assaulted the victim inside the car.
“After the crime, he drove her back to Ngong town and abandoned her. The complainant later proceeded to Ngong police station where she filed a report,” the police report said.
Juma is due to be arraigned in court today, Monday the 20th.
