From Wednesday, Form One students across the country arrived for admission in various secondary schools across the country.
Admission was supposed to start from May 3, however, this was postponed following the announcement of a public holiday by the government on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
But it was impossible for David Kamau to join his dream school. David, who got 379 marks in 2021 KCPE from Hyrex Primary School in Nakuru County, was called to join Nyeri High School.
But due to lack of school fees, David demanded to sell plastic bottles to increase school fees. A well-wisher who has been helping children through his ‘watoto wasome Organization’ and sharing on his Facebook page, has now joined his dream school after receiving David’s sponsorship.
This is after the 1992 Nyeri High School alumni class agreed to sponsor it for a full four-year course.
David was accompanied by his mother and younger brother to the school and was welcomed by Mr. Kahura, the principal of Nyeri.
