Latest news! CS George Magoha changed the school opening date again. Review and prepare new opening dates
In a statement on Friday, August 12, Magoha urged parents not to be told that the school will reopen on August 15th for all classes, but only for grade 6, class 8 and form 4 candidates. Logistics for the remaining classes will be communicated later by circular, probably mid next week
CS announced that after consultation with IEBC, several training sessions will be held for several days and ballots will be held in schools used as Tallying centres
“I have ordered the early closure of all primary education institutions in order to adequately prepare and conduct the general election on August 9th 2022.”
“We have announced that the inauguration will take place on August 15th 2022. But it has been announced that the election will continue on the aforementioned date and the date of the announcement of the presidential winner,” Magoha said.
CS also apologized to parents and guardians for this inconvenience and informed students that the safety of all students is their priority
