The Kenyan government has postponed the reporting date for Form One students until May 4, 2022 by the Ministry of Education.
Initially learners were expected to report on May 3, a day earlier, but since then the government has announced a date as a public holiday to celebrate Idd-ul-Fitr.
Front Secretary of Education Dr. Julius Jawan made this announcement in a circular dated April 27, 2022, which was sent to the Regional and County Directors of Education.
“The Cabinet Secretary of the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of the National Government has gazetted May 3, 2022 as a public holiday, the date on which one of the students was expected to report,” the circular was also sent to the Teacher Service Commission (TSC). ) And the National Parents Association, read in part.
