Mr. Peter Oumu Obwogo, Principal of Kisumu Boys High School, has passed away.
The cause of his death has not yet been revealed to the public.
Until his death, Mwalimu was set to contest for the Peter Matayos parliamentary seat.
He was to retire this month after being in a good teaching profession for 35 years and working as a headmaster for 30 years.
After separating from St. Joseph’s High School in Kitale, he became chief principal at Kisumu Boys. His dedication led him to be voted Principal of the Year in 2015, when he was at St. Joseph’s Kitale.
He has been mourned online as a disciplined, hardworking, obedient and honest person who had great work ethic.
He built up a good relationship with all the teachers and students he interacted with during his career as a teacher.
