Several buildings of the Kisumu Boys High School in Kisumu county are on fire.
Initial reports state that the fire started on Saturday, August 20, a few minutes after 9 am, though its origin has not yet been determined.
Nearly five of the impacted buildings, the majority of which were classrooms, reportedly caught fire.
Firefighters and police are presently working to put out the fire at the facility.
In order to help the county firefighters remedy the situation, emergency service providers from the Kenya Airport Authority (KAA) were also dispatched.
There have been no reports of casualties or injuries related to the early fire incident.
