The veteran journalist Leonard Mambo Mbotela is dead.
His daughter in law Anne Mbota confirmed his death.
The Veterian journalist was not good for some time and gave a last breath at around 9:30am on Friday.
“It’s true that my father in law is dead,” Anne confirmed.
Mambo Mbotela has been married to Alice Mwikali whom together they had three children: Ida Mbotela, Jimmy Mbotela and George Mbotela.
The legendary journalist was famous for his popular radio and television program, nicknamed” Jee huu ni ungwana” which was airing on KBC Radio and Television.
The program has been there since 1966 and enjoyed coverage for about 55 years.
