The Ministry of Education under the leadership of Professor George Magoha is working round the clock to ensure that the educational institutions in the country are well managed and comfortable for the learners.
This year is going to be a unique year where more than five classes are expected to appear in the national examinations.
The current Form Four is expected to start its papers in March this year, while the current Form Three learners will sit for their exams in December.
On the other hand, class eight students are also set to appear for their exams from next month, March 2022, while class six students will also be expected to appear for their exams at the same time.
Following this tight schedule in the academic calendar, the Ministry of Education has clarified on the official closing dates for non-candidate classes for adequate preparation for the national examinations.
The ministry has ensured that all schools should be closed in three weeks’ time to give way for adequate preparation.
Class 8 students will start their exams from March 7 to March 10, while those of Form four candidates are expected to start from March 11, 2022.
