As we know, the new curriculum has changed the primary national examination from Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) to Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA).
Because of this, the Kenya National Examination Commission recently warned teachers across the country to be careful when registering grade six students.
According to reports, all teachers are required to provide accurate details to the examination board for students with special needs in order to prevent future problems with the reported details.
According to KNEC, teachers should classify children with special needs and register their details according to the instructions provided.
This information will be used for a known number of students with special needs, who have a poor background and who need immediate assistance in their respective schools.
Registration is expected to end on May 14, 2022. This means that head teachers have a few days left to register their schools.
Thus they should arrive early before the registration door closes.
