Some students are shocked by the announcement of the University of Nairobi and are disappointed that it will not recognize inactive students trying to make a profit in the name of the institution.
According to Vice-Chancellor Stephen Kiama, the university’s database will be cleaned only to keep current students who are serious about their studies.
Prof. Kiama mentioned during the institute’s award ceremony that many students enroll for courses in the name of the university and it takes more than ten years to complete.
We place a premium on quality. “” We value the reputation of our students and the university, “he said.
