For junior secondary schools to transition within the facilities, Prof. George Magoha, has pushed all the elementary schools to build laboratories and libraries.
Magoha commended private investors’ initiatives to create independent junior secondary schools, a move that has received strong support from the government.
“Over 2300 secondary schools that are connected to elementary schools or share complexes would find junior secondary easier since they may coexist saving on the infrastructure,” stated Magoha.
According to Magoha,there shouldn’t be any delays in the procedure, since the government has released Sh3.2 billion to pay contractors for work that has been done.
At St. Johns Alupe Secondary School, Busiende Secondary School, and Lwanya Girls Secondary School, where he dedicated two classrooms each, Magoha ordered the phase 2 construction of the classrooms.
While Speaking to the media in St. Johns Alupe,Cs Magoha underlined the government’s dedication to seeing the CBC succeed and urged those who disagree with it to accept it as the long-term strategic plan for our educational system.
As per to Magoha, CBC wants to expose students to the flexibility of analyzing content from different sides with a focus on helping students realize their potential at a young age.
By the end of July, the ministry had plans to erect 10,000 classrooms, according to CS Magoha.
A total of 6,495 have been completed thus far. Over 3500 new classrooms will be built during the second phase, bringing the total number of CBC classrooms to 10,000.
