The Kenya Certificate of Primary Education marking will begin immediately after candidates sit for the final paper today.
According to the Chief Education Secretary, Dr Julius Jawan, the markers have reported to their stations.
The teachers reported to the marking center in Nairobi on November 25.
Dr Julius Jwan said examiners will take back their mark sheets in Nairobi today and start marking as soon as they get there.
The Chief Secretary for Basic Education was speaking in Nakuru after overseeing the opening and distribution of test materials in the Deputy Governor of Nakuru East County.
He said that the test was easy to solve, it only took a few strokes to solve easily.
Also, Dr. Jawan said that candidates from 67 schools in Uasin Gishu and Bungoma were taking exams in other schools.
Of the private schools, 52 in Uasin Gishu and 15 in Bungoma, center administrators said students who could not collect test materials were taking exams in other centers because schools were closed during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Based on the examination results starting tomorrow, the results seem to be ready for the first part which is expected to be released next week anytime from the 2nd week of December.
The president is expected to announce the fate of the sixth graders that week. Today, Musalia Mudavadi said that the decision on the fate of the CBC will be based on the recommendations of the task force assigned to review the curriculum.
