The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has urged contracted professionals for the 2022 national examinations to update their details online immediately.
The contractual professionals who need to update their profile include Center Managers, Supervisors, Supervisors, Security Officers.
On the same note examiners are also required to check their profile details and update where necessary.
Details you need to update include:
Full Name; As it appears on your ID.
Your year of birth (choose from the given list),
Gender (Select Male or Female),
Your National Identification Number as it appears on your ID
Kenya Revenue Authority, KRA, Pin No,
Your National Social Security Fund, NSSF, Number,
Your National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) number,
your highest qualification (select the level of study, the institution where you studied, the name/title of the course studied and the duration of study),
Your current work center (Select employer, enter employment number which is your TSC number for teachers and name of your work centre/school. You must also specify your designation/job title and year of employment, county and sub -County has to be selected. From the list),
Your Bank Details (Select Bank and Branch from the list. Enter your Bank Account Number also correctly),
Your email address
Details of next of kin (name, phone number and relation).
How to update your profile
To update your details on the KNEC Contract Portal, follow the steps mentioned below;
Access the KNEC Contracted Professional Portal using the link; https://cp2.knec.ac.ke/
Enter your username which is your phone number in the format 2547…… and your password.
Now select ‘Login’.
If you have forgotten your password, click ‘Reset Password’, enter your phone number in format 2547… and click ‘Reset Password’. KNEC will send you the password via your phone number.
After logging in, click on “My Profile”. Update the details accordingly and press ‘Save’ when done.
