Kenya Prison Service (KPS) has released the names of over 1700 shortlisted candidates for the highly anticipated Cadets and Medical Practitioners jobs.
The Kenya Prison Service published the full list of 1,749 shortlisted candidates on Tuesday, March 1, three weeks after a nationwide recruitment exercise.
Broke down, 1,000 persons got selected for Medical Cadet Officers and General Cadets, while 749 qualified for Medical Technician slot.
The notice further warned that those whose names were not included in the final list should consider themselves unsuccessful for the posts for which they had applied.
“Candidates are invited for interview as per the dates and times indicated against their names. Those whose names are not in the list should consider themselves unsuccessful.
The final list of shortlisted candidates was published in the Daily Nation Tuesday edition containing the clear interview date and the names of the successful candidates.
The Kenya Prison Service further stated that the Prison Staff Training College in Ruiru is the official venue where the interviews will be conducted.
Upon recruitment, shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo an intensive government-sponsored paramilitary preparatory training course of not less than nine months for Medical Technicians and not less than 13 months for other posts.
