After a compulsory break that saw all schools close to give room for polling and tallying 2022 August 9th General Elections in the country, all schools resumed back on 18th August to complete the better part of term 2, 2022 .
This term has ever remained shorter than expected as a result of being surrounded with multiple activities that are officiated by the government.
According to the MoE earlier school Calendar, term 2 was programmed to take a total of 10 weeks, something that never happened at all.This resulted to a number of education stakeholders suggesting to have the term extended by the Ps. Professor Magoha maintained that the term dates will never be altered.
To the above effect, Now all schools are expected to break in late next week .According to the MoE calendar on term dates, all Kenyan schools shall close on 16th September 2022 ( Next week Friday) .
This break will take 10 Days as Learners will resume back to start the 3rd term on 26th September 2022.
Note that in this term, learners will not have an haft term break bearing in mind that this is the period when KCPE, KCSE and KPSEA Examinations will be done.
