The Ministry of Education has sent a team to Awasi Girls High School in Kisumu County to investigate the cause of death of a student.
Kisumu County Director of Education, Peter Munene, said the student collapsed and died while in school under mysterious circumstances.
According to the principal, the student was in good health until she went to sleep with her classmates that’s when she developed complications before collapsing.
A team from the Ministry of Education has been sent to investigate the matter and a full report will be issued after the investigations are completed.
Meanwhile, parents are urged to remain calm while the matter is investigated. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
