Normally TSC uses announces job openings for primary school teachers and post-primary school tutors each year. This provides employment opportunities for qualified teachers who are currently unemployed.
Even if finding a job as a primary school teacher takes time, the good news is that one will eventually find work.
Those candidates seeking for primary positions must have a P1 certificate.
In addition, you must be a Kenyan citizen aged 44 or younger.
The P1 teacher recruitment is similar to secondary teacher recruitment in that length of stay and P1 certifications are important factors. Aside from the length of time since completing a teaching course, an individual’s age bracket has a role in their job.
When it is selection day one should carry the following original documents to sub-county selection panel;
A National Identity card.
A CPE/KCPE certificate (including first attempt certificate if one repeated exam).
The PTE certificate.
The School/college leaving certificates.
