More than 70 girls were drawn from Marigit, Eldama Ravine, Taita West, Taita East, Baringo North, Mogotio and Baringo Central sub counties and organized by Gladwell Cheruiyot through the county’s Women’s Representative for a Second Chance Program for Teen Moms. 700 are among the beneficiaries. The year 2022 is a delicate one with six major examinations in addition to the upcoming TSC teachers’ training for PE and science teachers in April 2022.
Last month, KUPPET had threatened to call the union for industrial action in the form of harassment of teachers by the TSC due to the 2021-2025 Non-Monetary Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
CS Magoha and Teacher Employer Teacher Service Commission TSC however deferred the strike with speed which could greatly affect the smooth conduct of National Knec Examinations 2021-2022.
