Last night, a man who abused his wife lost his life when she took shelter at another man’s residence and he followed her.
According to a report by the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI), Fabian Omanyala assaulted his 53-year-old wife at their home in Kakemer location, Busia County, during a domestic argument that quickly turned into a torrent of assaults and kicks.
When the woman could no longer be abused, she took refuge in Robert Amukule’s house, but her husband was following her, vying for her blood.
Amukule, who had heard the commotion, ran to the woman’s aid, throwing a projectile from a slingshot that instantly killed Omanyala.
The killer projectile, which could not be immediately identified, struck the deceased on the forehead and spread it on the ground. ” reads part of the DCI report.
After he was pronounced dead on arrival, efforts by well-wishers to take him to the nearby Korosiendet dispensary went in vain.
Amukule immediately goes into hiding and a search operation is launched for him by the detectives based at Teso.
