Police in Siaya County have recovered the body of a 38-year-old woman who was stabbed to death and dumped in the banana area near Siaya County.
According to Siaya Police Boss Michael Muchiri, the woman’s body was found on Friday near Siaya Medical Center, where she is said to have gone for treatment on Thursday night.
The deceased was a bursar at the nearby Hono Secondary School.
Muchiri said preliminary investigation revealed that someone had strangled the woman to death before framing her on the way and stabbing her several times.
Police has started investigation into the incident.
