Cliff Moses, a former digital journalist at Royal Media Services, has passed away. Sources close to Mpasho report that Mr. Moses’s body was found at his home this morning.
Early reports from our source indicate that Mr. Moses may have taken his own life. Prior to his death, Cliff was a former video editor and motion graphic designer at the Royal Media Service (Citizen TV), where he worked since 2017.
This sad news comes a few months after a fellow media practitioner also took his own life. On 19th January this year, Capital FM DJ, Alex Nderi aka, DJ Lithium passed away inside the offices of the media house.
He died while undergoing treatment at a Nairobi hospital. According to sources, the DJ allegedly deleted all his social media accounts before writing the suicide note.
He then ended his life when he went to the bathroom leaving behind his suicide note on his desk, which coworkers had said would be left for the family to unpack.
DJ walks back to the offices and collapses, his coworkers desperately trying to revive him. He also called first responders, but by then it was too late.
