It is really sad news that a candidate who was waiting for Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education exam with high hopes of excelling in the exam, was put to rest for few hours before the much awaited exam starts.
A gloomy mood surrounded the Nyamira Boys’ High School and Kiabonyoru Village, Nyamira County, as Timothy Nyagwencha Nyachani, a Form Four candidate, was being buried.
Timothy Nyagwencha was one of the boys aspirants who were preparing to do their KCSE exam which is starting today at 8 am. Unfortunately, the talented youth is preparing for this exam, but he will not get a chance to appear in it as death snatches him away.
The boy was determined to join the university because he was bright and hardworking. He soon fell ill and everyone hoped that he would recover, however, he died.
Principal of the school Mr. George Onkundi, who attended his burial ceremony, praised the deceased as a bright candidate who was going to crack KCSE as he was always one of the top students in his class.
The school principal and the students who attended his burial, along with the staff, called Timothy a man who was a hard worker, a team player and a brilliant fellow who aspired to excel in his academic endeavors.
Ouko Boniface, the Nyamira County Education Director who attended Timothy’s burial, urged candidates and teachers to remain resilient despite losing one of them. (Their colleague and student, respectively).
