On 11th April 2022, Cabinet Secretary Education Professor George Magoha released the placement results of 2022 KCPE candidates in their respective schools.
During the programme, the minister stressed that the process was fair and students should now be ready to attend their respective high schools on May 3, 2022, a week after the schools officially reopen.
Furthermore, Magoha said that bursaries and scholarships should be given only to students attending boarding schools.
Furthermore he said that, the Government of Kenya under the Ministry of Education pays fully for the day school fees and the students who will attend the day schools will only have to pay for the lunch and their uniforms.
After the official release of the placement results, students can send to their respective index number 22263 to know in which schools they have been placed where a fee of 25 shillings will be charged.
