A Mataty report surfaced online confirming Nuclear Sacco’s involvement in a serious road accident after it overturned in a ditch.
According to reports, a matatu full of passengers was on its way from Nyahururu to Nairobi when it lost control for some unknown reason at Olkalau and went off the road before rolling into the ditch.
An eyewitness revealed that the driver was trying to avoid a head-on collision with an oncoming lorry and was maneuvering through the road before landing in a ditch.
The Good Samaritan reached the spot and rescued the victims by removing them from the vehicle. Sources indicated that several persons were injured and two of them were school children who were on their way to Kiambu to prepare for the new term.
They were taken to a nearby hospital where they were treated, police officials were informed and visited the spot to investigate the cause of the accident. Drivers have been asked to slow down, especially during this holiday season.
