With only a few days left for KCSE and KCPE aspirants to appear for their national examination, it is indeed sad news for some of the candidates who are waiting to appear in their national examination.
Candidates in 175 schools will be forced to take their national exams in other exam centers after the education ministry changes their current exam centers.
This news comes after a new regulation to be established requires that all educational institutions, primary and secondary schools, have a minimum of 30 KCSE or KCPE candidates in order to be registered as a center for the administration of national examinations.
This is the first time that this new regulation is taking effect with the 2021 KCPE and the KCSE candidates were the first slot to experience its sad effects.
151 primary schools and 24 secondary schools have been affected by the institutionalization of the new regulation.
