An assistant chief attempted rape in Kisii.
In Kisii County, a manhunt is underway for Keboye sub location assistant chief who allegedly tried to rape a 30-year-old woman.
Dismus Manoti allegedly called the victim on Friday evening and told her that he was outside her compound.
When she came out of her house, Manoti allegedly “gasped her breasts, then forced her to kneel, exposed his penis, into which he had inserted a condom, and tried to force it into her.”
The woman raised the alarm, which was responded to by nearby residents when they found the struggling duo.
Manoti is said to have fled when he saw the resident, leaving behind a mobile phone and two unused condoms.
