Uasin Gishu, the deputy governor John Barorot has resigned.
The announcement comes after he missed several key county functions. He made the announcement during a meeting with senior county officials at Eka Hotel in Eldoret in the presence of Governor Dr. Jonathan Bii.
An official announcement will be made soon at the Uasin Gishu county headquarters.
