Accidents on Kenyan highways have been on the rise in recent times, with hundreds of Kenyans losing their lives in accidents that could have been avoided had proper regulation been followed.
National Transport and Safety Authority, NTSA has released the latest figures showing the number of people lost on the roads, which shows that negligence and non-compliance of traffic rules are the main reasons.
According to Sikika Road Safety, a horrific accident took place in Hola, Tana river this afternoon where a father and his two daughters died tragically.
The man is said to have been taking his two daughters for an interview before a horrific road accident happened on the busy highway earlier this afternoon.
After the collision, all three died on the spot, due to which their vehicle was badly damaged.
Motorists have been urged to exercise extra caution to avoid recurrence of such accidents on the road.
In view of the situation, the police reached the spot already as the dead have been kept in the mortuary.
